Hi Gang, Thanks to the efforts of our Legal Staff, the retirees, it has been proven that our field is not on the property owned by the cooperation wanting to charge us rent. TOP ITEM: The Foxen Recreational Department has requested that we give a Static Display and Flying Demo at their Kennedy Field at 2PM this Saturday, April 28th rain date Sunday, April 29th . We will be located at Baseball Field #4 all the way to the left of the complex. Due to the size of the field flying will be limited to Electrics, Gas .25 & smaller and Helicopters. This is our chance to thank them for their use of the Community Center. Let’s have a good showing. Directions - Continue down Rt. 100 past the Rec. Center to the first stop sign, Maple St., and make a left. The field is a couple 100 yards on the left side of the street.
On to other news. The recent rainfall has done damage to the road by the bridge. This damage should be fixed by now. As the weather improves addition work will be performed on the road. The field itself is in good condition. As it dries out we will have it rolled to further flatten it. The north side of the fence needs to be mended due to damage caused by dirt bikers. Plans are being made to fix the trailer door. 48 club hats have been ordered so get you reservations in now.

Flight training will continue to be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 PM, weather permitting. The first testing date is scheduled for June. Also additional flight trainers are needed to help give the students as much flight time as possible. The next meeting will be May 16st. We will be having a demonstration of electric helicopters. In addition I want to remind everyone about the Memorial Day Picnic which will be held May 27th. At the picnic the raffle for a Spek TRUM DX 7 radio system will be drawn. Tickets are still available, $2 each, 3 for $5 and 7 for $10. Looking forward to seeing you at the next meeting. Till then stay dry.
